After spending 14 years from 2000 to 2014 in Japan as a child, I decided to go back to France (where I apparently come from, since I am undoubtedly 100% French from both sides of my family and have not one ounce of japanese blood whatsoever) to study animation. Foolish me to leave one of the GREAT animation makers country you say? Well yes. But you see after 14 years in the same country, city, even one as amazing and crazy as Tokyo, you need some change, to find some roots... lol, I just wanted to leave Tokyo for a little while.
So I discovered Paris.
Started at Olivier de Serres -now known as École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d'Art (ENSAAMA)- for a year, quickly passed by l'ECV for another year to finally find my home at l'Atelier de Sèvres within their Atelier Supérieur d'Animation (ASA).
Graduated in 2019. Now the real work begins I guess. I am grateful to have found a comfy spot as 2D animator and puppet/props builder at studio Millimages (Molang) for now (2020, just in case I don't update this often) and still can't believe I'm getting paid to draw and animate everyday.
My 5 YEARs plan: paying my loan back. Being confident enough in my drawing skills and style to start applying for illustration jobs.
My life plan: adopt twelve puppies. own a mcdonalds.
